(KPL) The Minister of Health of the Lao PDR, Ms. Baikham Khattiya, on July 30 received a courtesy call from Ms. Morakot Sriswasdi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Lao PDR. Officials from both sides were present at the meeting.
The visit marked Ambassador Morakot’s assumption of her diplomatic post in Laos and was an opportunity to discuss ongoing and future cooperation in the health sector. The two sides also exchanged views on planned activities to celebrate the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Laos.
Ambassador Morakot congratulated Minister Baikham on her recent appointment and expressed confidence in the Ministry’s progress under her leadership. She reaffirmed Thailand’s commitment to deepening bilateral health cooperation, especially in areas of mutual interest and emerging challenges.
