The visit, taking place from November 26-29, underscores efforts to strengthen ties between Laos and Vietnam.
During the meeting, President Thongloun expressed his delight at welcoming Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thang and his delegation.
He highlighted the importance of the visit in enhancing the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, states, and peoples of Laos and Vietnam.
President Thongloun extended his best wishes for the delegation's successful visit, emphasizing its role in fostering closer bilateral ties.
In response, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thang thanked President Thongloun for the warm hospitality and provided an overview of his delegation's visit to the Lao PDR.
