    A total of 69 natural disasters struck Laos in 2024, affecting all 16 provinces and Vientiane, with over 58,700 households (271,168 people) impacted. Among them, 17 people lost their lives, 58 were injured, and 6,432 houses sustained damage, including 110 that were completely destroyed. Additionally, 126 schools and one airport were affected.
