"All of my family members have come to watch movies. This is our chance to watch films on a big screen. Throughout the year we have waited for this week and we will watch many movies together," said a spectator.
The Festival opened with the screening the premiere of "This Love in Vientiane," co produced by Vannaphone Sithirath, Anisay Keola, Saysongkham Induangchanthy, and Phanoumad Dysatha.
Films from Thailand and Cambodia were also screened at the event, including the ghost movie "Pee Mak Phra Khanong." The film was very interesting to local viewers and is very popular in Thailand.
The audiences crowded the movie screen during the five days screenings. This year the Luang Prabang Film Festival was held at La Pe Hotel.
The Festival provides a venue where amateur filmmakers can introduce their films to audiences and receive feedback.
