(KPL) 13 laws including 11 revisions and two new draft laws have been approved by lawmakers since the ongoing 7th Ordinary Session of the National Assembly was opened on Jun 10.
The approved include two new draft laws on medicinal plants and cooperatives, and 11 amended laws on investment, National Assembly, value-added tax, anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism, environment protection, anti-corruption, tourism, fire prevention and fighting, and prevention of HIV/AIDS, provincial people’s councils, and the election of members of the National Assembly and provincial people’s council.
These laws are necessary to promote the implementation of Party and state policies as they will become fundamental tools for realizing tasks of each sector in line with the current situation, and current socio-economic development plan,” said Vice President of the National Assembly Chaleun Yiapaoher.
