(KPL) A site visit was held at the Holiday Inn & Suites Vientiane on Nov 28, part of the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), to showcase its cutting-edge electrical system developed in collaboration with Schneider Electric. The event, attended by French Ambassador Siv Leng Chhuor, Yvan Bolliet of Comin Asia, and a representative from Schneider Electric Thailand, highlighted the hotel’s commitment to sustainable energy solutions.
Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation, teamed up with Comin Asia to design and install the state-of-the-art systems. Comin Asia, known for its engineering and maintenance solutions in Laos, has been instrumental in integrating energy-efficient and environmentally friendly technologies across the country’s hospitality, energy, and industrial sectors.
The visit included inspections of key installations, such as the air handling unit (AHU) room, low- and medium-voltage technical rooms, and the hotel gym. These modern systems reflect Schneider Electric's tailored approach to the Lao market, emphasizing sustainability and energy efficiency.
“This project demonstrates the success of innovative partnerships in promoting green energy and enhancing infrastructure in Laos,” said a Schneider Electric representative.
The initiative highlights the importance of French-Lao collaboration in driving progress in strategic sectors such as energy and infrastructure, with sustainability at its core.
