(KPL) Lao Fashion Week 2025 set the city abuzz as its flagship Fashion and Culture Night took over the Amari Vientiane on July 30, blending contemporary style with Lao heritage in an unforgettable showcase.

The event spotlighted the bold creativity of Laos’ rising fashion stars while blending modern design with cultural heritage—a feast for the senses that left attendees inspired.

The runway came alive with collections from Ministry of Silk, NEWNORM, BILLY, MELMIK, AUGSTALE, and THAVETH—brands led by the young designers. From sleek contemporary silhouettes to intricate textiles honoring Lao craftsmanship, each piece told a story of innovation rooted in tradition.

"Tonight wasn’t just about fashion—it was about empowering the next generation," said Ms. Pany Saignavong, Founder & CEO of Lao Fashion Week and the Lao Young Designers Project. "These designers represent the future of Lao fashion, and we’re here to give them a global platform."

The evening wasn’t just a visual spectacle. Guests were treated to a mesmerizing piano performance by Pianist Vientiane, blending classical elegance with modern flair—a perfect complement to the fashion on display.

For those looking to take home a piece of Lao design, a Pop-Up Store featured exclusive pieces from the showcased brands, with 20% of sales supporting the Lao Young Designers Project. "This initiative helps young talents turn their dreams into careers," Saignavong emphasized.

The event drew support from major sponsors, including Lao Brewery Group, Amari Vientiane Hotel, BLANC 1664, 3 Nagas, Sofitel Luang Prabang, and Green Park, proving that Laos’ fashion scene is gaining serious momentum.
