KPL The Phongsavanh Foundation, in collaboration with New Vision from Singapore, will provide free cataract surgery for eligible individuals at Mahosot Hospital from February 3-8, 2025.


(KPL) The Phongsavanh Foundation, in collaboration with New Vision from Singapore, will provide free cataract surgery for eligible individuals at Mahosot Hospital from February 3-8, 2025.
Registration is open from December 30, 2024, to January 31, 2025, at the Ophthalmology Department of Mahosot Hospital. For those unable to register in person, phone registration is also available.
The program is open to individuals in Vientiane and nationwide who suffer from cataracts and require surgery.
Participants traveling from districts such as Sangthong, Nasaythong, Pakngum, Xaythany, and Hadxayfong are eligible for travel reimbursements and meal allowances for lunch and dinner. This support extends to both patients and accompanying people.
